This full day biking trip brings you to the town of Ingapirca “Inca wall” in the province of Cañar and the older Incan ruins and archeological site nearby. You start the ride at the train tracks close to Biblián. The bike ride will take you uphill and downhill along a secondary dirt road passing through two old train tunnels. After about 15 km you get to the Panamericana taking the route uphill. Then you return onto the train track where you pass 3 more longer train tunnels on the next 10 km. At this stage you are able to have amazing views over the Andean landscape, indigenous villages and even Cuenca from far away. You will pass by rural farms, and after another small ascent you will enjoy the rest of the way biking downhill to the river of San Pedro. After some 7 km more on the Panamericana you will reach Ingapirca and visit the largest known Inca ruins in Ecuador.
